Paul S. Lavoie is the Co-Owner and Partner of Response, LLC, a leading marketing agency located in New Haven, CT. Response works with clients to create strategic marketing programs that posess “the power to provoke”. Prior to Response, Paul was President of Action Business Advisors, LLC, a business consulting firm specializing in helping companies grow through practical, simple sales and marketing strategies and techniques.  Action Business Advisors bought an ActionCOACH Business Coaching franchise in 2005 and quickly grew into one of the top franchises in the ActionCOACH system.  In addition to Business Coaching, Paul is a noted public speaker, entrepreneur, author of several articles on selling and leadership and the author of the upcoming book “Power Up! Your Sales”. 

Prior to ActionCOACH, Paul was the General Manager of American Payment Systems, a $52M financial services company located in Wallingford, CT.  Paul joined APS in 2001 as VP, Sales and was instrumental in doubling the size of the business in three years, leading to the sale of the company to Checkfree Corporation.   Prior to General Manager, Paul was VP, Sales, SVP, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Operations and EVP, Sales and Marketing.  Paul was VP, Sales at Productivity Solutions, a self-checkout system provider and SVP, Retail Marketing at ACTMEDIA, the leading in-store marketing company.
